Dr. Allison Sutton is passionate about making every patient feel empowered, confident, and like the best version of themselves. She’s known best for the way she creates personal, thoughtful experiences that inspire confidence and transform every patient’s life for the better.
Dr. Sutton is extensively educated and is deeply respected by her peers for her experience and excellence in cosmetic dermatology. She cares about bringing you the most advanced techniques and products available. Dr. Sutton’s accomplishments and training bring a depth and skill to her work; she offers natural, beautiful, nuanced results. Her specialized experience in dermatological research paired with a caring, warm environment allows patients to feel heard, inspired, and confident in taking the next step. Her practice is a place where you can ask questions, share ideas, and explore possibilities.
Dr. Sutton has been recognized for both professional and academic excellence throughout her career. Prior to opening her clinic in Vancouver, Dr. Sutton was the Director of Aesthetic Dermatology for the University of Texas’ Health Sciences Centre in San Antonio. She received her medical degree from the University of British Columbia, completed her Residency in Dermatology at the University of Toronto, and is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Academy of Dermatology.
She has received numerous awards including the 2015 Super Doctors® Rising Stars℠ for being an outstanding practicing doctor in Texas, and a National Excellence in Resident Teaching Award from the Canadian Dermatology Association. She was awarded the Gold Medal and recognized as a Westbrook Scholar upon graduating medical school.
With her husband and two young children, Dr. Sutton calls the West Coast home, where she loves living, working, and welcoming new patients to her practice!
